Underbool Bowls News.

Underbool Ladies Championship Pairs winners for 2017/2018 are Bernadette Stone and Raelene Winslow, winning that title for 2 years in a row. Well done ladies. A game well played with Jeni Boseley and Jennifer Wakefield Runners/up. Best wishes of the Club when you play at Euston next Thursday and Friday in the Sunraysia Championship Ladies Pairs.

The Men’s Singles Championship was played on Friday 8th December, between Steve Simmonds and Robert Lester before a good crowd of fellow bowlers. What can we say about these two top draw bowlers, but that the scores were not indicative of the play between them? Steve was the winner of the game and the Club wishes him good bowling when he plays off in the Sunraysia Men’s Champion of Champion Singles at Euston 6th and 7th January 2018.

Winners of Social Bowls Saturday 9thDecember were Robert Gloster, Marie Cummings and Anne Stone. Thirteen played followed by a BBQ tea.

Coming up Twilight Trophy Night Wednesday 20th December. IGA Sponsored. Names in by 6pm. Play to commence at 6.30pm. A salad please.

The next morning 21st December at 9am, the Ladies Championship Fours will be played. Good bowling to all taking part.
