Pink Lakes Pantry News

To date, the Committee is pleased about the way the Pantry is operating, and very grateful to have such support from the volunteers who work each day. Manager Pennie has been extremely busy catering for the needs of the community and we thank her for her efforts.

Sincere thanks to those who have made donations. Grant funding is being sought but if successful, will not be available for some months.

Due to current Powercorp requirements, the Shop Committee had to organise for an upgrade to external power line connections. Cost was to be about $2000, and has now blown out to $4000. This work is now complete. In addition, there are legal costs of approximately $1700 for transfer of title. These items are part of the set-up costs and are not ongoing expenses. At this point in time, the Shop Committee would welcome any donations to help pay these invoices as quickly as possible.

The Pink Lakes Pantry provides a community service and it needs the ongoing support of this community.
