Underbool Bowls Notes

Saturday Pennant had a good day against Workers 3, winning all three rinks, thus giving Underbool maximum points to consolidate second position on the ladder. Only one game remains in the final round against Wentworth on November 24th. Wentworth is on top of ladder, so will make for some exciting bowls.

Midweek Pennant played Irymple in the final game of the round and although we did play gallantly, the team went down overall. The team can be proud of their play throughout the season, the early morning travelling and so few numbers available to play each week.

Social Bowls Winners on Saturday 10th November were Bernadette Stone, Wendy stone and Noelene Crow.

Social bowls at the club next Saturday will be followed by a BBQ tea. Salad please.

Robert and Colleen Gloster and Alan and Jen Stone played in the Euston Star Day on Sunday 11th November and enjoyed a great day of fellowship and bowling.

Ladies Club Championship between Marie Cummings and Jennifer Wakefield will be played off on Sunday 18th November at 4pm. The Club hopes to see as many as possible support this event by their attendance and wish both ladies a very good game.
