I would like to sincerely THANK all people who attended my accident on Saturday 11th November. Special thanks to Kieran Hayter who was first on the scene and Murray and Peter for their quick attendance. All your help was much appreciated by me. I was very fortunate not to receive any broken bones but only several spots of abrasions and bruises. Hopefully I am on the road to recover from an awful incident. A lucky man in more ways than one. Memberships are now due. To be covered by insurance all Pink Lakes Pantry volunteers and committee members should also pay a membership and complete the associated form. Membership fee of $2 can be paid directly to Maggie Winslow or in the box at Pink Lakes Pantry. Underbool Seniors Club
The Underbool Seniors will be having a get-together on Friday 1st December at 1pm in the Underbool-Linga Hall. It will be in a form of a social get-together for the Christmas break up. All are welcome to join in the chatter, laughter and fun. The afternoon is open to all ‘’young and old” who would love to come along and join in. Underbool Bowls
Saturday Pennant players had a great win over Ouyen on Saturday 25th November, playing at home. 78 points to 49 points. Two sides of the team had a big win, whilst the others came a draw. Now for the Semi final to be played at Irymple against Merbein on Saturday 2nd December. Congratulations on play so far and best wishes for good bowling from all at the Club. Midweek pennant players had an overall win against Irymple at Euston on November 27th. Underbool 51points, Irymple 45 points. Underbool midweek bowlers won’t make the finals but have proved to be very competitive especially in the last half of the season. The last game prior to finals will be playing Irymple. Competition will be strong as the remaining Club’s vie for finals positions.
Underbools midweek bowlers will be hosting a special afternoon tea next Monday after the game, so please remember to bring a plate of savouries or cakes/slices. You will still need to bring your own lunch.
Saturday November 11th, 14 played social bowls. Winners were Robert Lester and Raelene Winslow on 6 points and Runners Up, Robert Pole and Jennifer Wakefield 75 ½ points. On Wednesday December 6th, the play off of the Ladies Pairs will take place at 9:30am, Jeni Boseley and Jennifer Wakefield will be playing Bernadette Stone and Raelene Winslow. Winners will go on to play at Euston on 14th & 15ths December in the Sunraysia Ladies Pairs Best of bowling ladies.

If you love reading, this is the place for you. It is not meant to take the place of the Mobile Library. Books left for exchange are to be in good condition please. There is room on the shelf for more books if you would like to donate. Children’s books could be put on the bottom shelf for the younger members of our community.

Tennis Coaching in Underbool
Tennis coaching will be held in Underbool on Sunday 3rd of December from 9-11am. Josh Gregg along with 2 or 3 other coaches will provide lessons for 5 to 16 year olds. $25 per student.
