Underbool CFA

As the fire danger period started on Monday the 14th November. Please have your properties cleaned up. There are 2 firefighting bomber planes based at Ouyen from the 10th November in readiness for any grass/crop/scrub fire outbreak. Please be aware that anyone entering a fire ground, be it on CFA vehicle or private unit, needs to know the procedure of the bombers, as they can drop 3 tonnes of water in a few seconds.

There are voluntary grain harvesting table/guides available from the fire station, Corbett rural supplies and Gloster’s garage, which relates to temperature, relative humidity and wind speed for safe harvesting on very high fire danger days. We encourage farmers to take advantage of these guides and to follow them.

Kylie’s Nails.

I would like to thank my clients that supported me over the past 4 years, and unfortunately, I’ve had to make this decision. I will still be taking appointments up until the end of 2016 and honouring any outstanding vouchers that are still in date.

Thank you – Kylie.    Donation $5.00

MRCC – Immunisation clinic changes.

The last clinic was Thursday 24th November.

Appointments are required for all clinics at Murrayville, Underbool and Ouyen. Please contact the Ouyen service centre on 50188600.

There have been a number of changes made to the National Immunisation Program (NIP) in 2016, including the introduction of the No Jab No Play and No Jab No Play immunisation requirements. This has resulted in the changes to the above clinics which will assist in immunisation services being readily available and accessible to the community.
