“Christmas Eve in the Park”
After Santa makes his annual home visits around town, he is expected to arrive at Outen Park around 7.30pm. Santa may even have some special treats with him, so don’t be late kids!
Cool Room
The Cool room is now available for hire over the Christmas and New Year period due to a cancellation. Please contact Colleen Gloster on 0428 946 373 to arrange hire.
Memberships are now due. To be covered by insurance all Pink Lakes Pantry volunteers and committee members should also pay a membership and complete the associated form. Membership fee of $2 can be paid directly to Maggie Winslow or in the box at Pink Lakes Pantry. A collection jar has also been placed at the shop to raise funds for the purchase of lollies for Christmas Eve celebrations.

Save the Date - Loop the Lake - 24th March 2018
Help the Underbool Primary School raise funds for breast cancer and challenge yourself to walk or ride the 10.5km trek around Lake Crosbie (Pink Lakes, Murray Sunset National Park).

Pink Lakes Pantry
Pink Lakes Pantry will be opening from 8am to 9am this Saturday the 9th December 2017.
Book Exchange at Pink Lakes Pantry. If you love reading, this is the place for you. It is not meant to take the place of the Mobile Library. Books left for exchange are to be in good condition please. There is room on the shelf for more books if you would like to donate. Children’s books could be put on the bottom shelf for the younger members of our community.

School Concert
The school concert is being held on Friday 15th of December, doors opening at 6.30pm. Come and watch the primary school children perform, buy a ticket in the Christmas Hamper Raffle and enjoy a visit from Santa. Underbool Bowls
Saturday Pennant finished their run on Saturday December 2nd when they were defeated on all sides by Merbein 3. Best wishes for a speedy recovery to Ray Gloster who had to leave off play for a medical emergency.
Midweek Pennant finished their season also on Monday 3rd December, when one side of the team had a win but not by enough to cover the other side’s loss against Euston.
A grand wind – up afternoon tea was very much enjoyed by all present. Thanks to Underbool ladies for the fine spread. All the best to Euston and Mildura Division 2 as they play for winners in the Grand Final next Monday.
On Sunday 3rd December, Robert Lester and Col Lockett, and Steve Simmonds and Colin Aikman played for a position in the Singles Club Championship. Both games were very close with great draw bowling strategy. The resulting winner from each game Robert Lester and Steve Simmonds will now play off for Club Champion on Friday 8th of December at 4pm. Should be a great game to watch.
With all Pennant now finished for Underbool, it is back to Social Bowls. Saturday 9th December play as usual, with a BBQ tea to follow. Please bring a salad to share.
