MILDURA RURAL CITY COUNCIL 2017 – 2021 COUNCIL PLAN

Mildura Rural City Council is now developing its 2017 – 2021 Council Plan, a vital strategic document that will guide the organisation’s future direction and the services we provide for the next four years.

This is a process that takes place every four years following the election of a new Council and looks at everything from community safety, land use, and health and well-being to our economy, roads and the many services Council provides.

As part of the plan’s development, Council conducts a comprehensive consultation process to ensure the community has input into the plan.

This will be done this year through an online survey and a series of drop-in sessions across the district, which will allow residents to speak one-on-one with senior Council staff and Councillors.

The online survey can be accessed here: www.surveymonkey.com/r/FGJVNTT

Senior Managers will be in Underbool on Wednesday 15th February 11.30am – 1pm at the Underbool Post Office. Stop in for a chat.

Hard copies of the survey will also be available at kiosks and the drop-in sessions, which will be located at community sites, Council Service Centres and other Council facilities, such as libraries. People can also contact our Service Centre and request a copy of the survey.

The consultation period will run through to 6 March this year. The feedback will then be collated and presented to Councillors ahead of a draft plan being presented.

For further information about the Council Plan and the consultation process please Council’s website at www.mildura.vic.gov.au or call Council’s Service Centre on (03) 5018 8100
