Pine Plains Fire

 Smoke billows from the the bushfire in Pine Plains at the northern end of Wyperfeld National Park. Mid-afternoon the view south of Underbool showed:

As daylight faded, the horizon glowed as the fire continued to move in a north-easterly direction:

and a bit later a few kms south of Underbool:

Local CFA volunteers are monitoring the northern edge of the fire and are ready to move into action if/when the fire comes out into cleared farm land.
