Anzac Day Poppy Project
The Underbool Progress Group are knitting/ crocheting poppies for the ANZAC Memorial Wall, we are looking for help to contribute from the community. The pattern can be obtained

School Concert
The school concert is being held on Friday 14th of December, doors opening at 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Come and watch the primary school children perform, buy a ticket in the Christmas Hamper Raffle and enjoy a visit from Santa. ‘Special instructions’ for Santa were due at Corbetts on Monday 10 December and cannot be accepted on the night sorry.

Underbool Bowls Notes
This Saturday 15th December will see Underbool Saturday Pennant Division 3 Team compete in their first Grand Final. Playing Workers 3 at Workers Bowling Green, along with the other Grand Final Divisions of Saturday Sunraysia Pennant. A great accomplishment, best wishes and good bowling to all.
Social Bowls on Saturday 8th December was played in the evening because of the warm day. A BBQ meal and salads was enjoyed by 23 people, followed by 2 games of 3 bowl Pairs with 16 bowlers participating.
Winners were Robert Lester and Raelene Winslow. Supper of very nice biscuits made by Hedi were much appreciated.
Coming up on Wednesday 19th December will be the IGA Christmas Twilight.
Underbool Swimming Pool News
If you are heading to the pool this season, there will be icy poles for sale for $2 each from the pool freezer. Please don’t ask the lifeguard for assistance as they have a very important job to do keeping everyone safe in the pool. This is going to work as an honesty system, there will be a container to place your money in (correct change would be great please), can parents please assist your child. I will be adding bottled water in the near future which will also be $2 a bottle.
This is a fundraiser for our school and ongoing over the pool season. Plenty of time for us all to help either side of our holidays.

60th Anniversary
The 60th Anniversary of 'Our Lady of Fatima' Underbool, will be celebrated on Sunday the 16th of December with a morning tea after the 9:00 am Mass.
Community Farewell
A community farewell will be held for Chicken, Jane and Family on Dec 31st at the Underbool Rec Ground from 5pm. All welcome. Please bring a plate to share.
